Scientists are conducting an experiment and they have chosen you. They have not revealed the purpose to you. You will be placed in a box, laid down horizontal, facing up. You are chained to the box. Your arms are by your side and your legs are clamped together. You cannot move except for your eyes. It is completely dark inside, meaning that you cannot see anything except black. You can choose to stay in the box for three years, possibly suffering insanity, and after that you can have anything you could ever dream of. Or choose death. Conditions 1) You are to stay in there for three years. 2) You cannot do anything in that box, except think and sleep. 3) There is a tiny tube in your box through which the scientists will send food. This food will not alter your state of health, meaning that you will be just as fine as you were before you entered the box, just filled with food. You will never go hungry or thirsty. 4) You will not have any health-related problems; you won’t get an itch, get sore, have too much hair, sleep deprivation, have to take a piss, dump, etc. But you could go insane, go insane, etc. 5) You can only sleep six hours a day. 6) You cannot kill yourself. After three years, you will come out of the box, and the scientists will grant you anything you want, as long as it's rational; no immortality, flying abilities, etc. Or you can choose death. You must explain why you chose your option. Be reasonable

Just a question. Why is insanity a choice?
If there was a reason for me to go in the box (like survive 3 years and my family will be safe), I'd pick the box. Now of course I'd go insane, but if the prize at the end was worth it I wouldn't mind.
Death just seems like the easy way out and I'm not the type of guy who'd do that. If there's a will, there's a way.
Oh yeah....It's weird when people ask me crazy stuff like this, cuz I will never let myself get in this situation >.>

I'd pick the box. So what if I go insane? At least I can make sure all my friends are forever safe, because that's worth three years of boredom... And I'm already slightly insane anyways
